We have released version 5.2.1! This update concerns users running the MSP Challenge server themselves. People only using the MSP Challenge client to connect to existing sessions are unaffected.
When creating sessions in the Server manager, data is imported from the public Geoserver hosted by Breda University of applied science. However, because of ongoing changes in data sharing licenses, we have chosen to temporarily suspend public access to this Geoserver. This means people hosting their own MSP Challenge server will not be able to create sessions the regular way. If you are planning to host custom sessions, these are your options:
- Use a previously saved session: For users that have existing sessions, we advise saving them by pressing the save-icon on the Sessions-page and then downloading that save locally. This allows the saved session to be used to create new sessions, avoiding the need for a Geoserver connection.
- Use your own Geoserver, this can easily be configured in the Servermanager settings tab.
- Send us a message so we can set up a server with you.
We plan to setup a new public Geoserver within the next couple of months, and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause until then.
Co-funded by the European Union.
